Terms of Service

AnyVerse is a text-based roleplaying game: you choose a character, enter curated worlds, and play an interactive story guided by AI-generated narration. The Service is provided for entertainment.

You must be at least 16 years old to use AnyVerse. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 16 or older and able to form a binding agreement.

You create an account to play. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.

AnyVerse offers a free plan and paid subscriptions (details and prices on our pricing page and in Settings → Subscription). Payments are processed by Stripe.

• Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the billing cycle you chose until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time in Settings → Subscription; paid features remain available until the end of the period you have paid for, and the renewal will not be charged.
• We may change prices going forward — we will give reasonable notice, and changes will not affect the current paid period.
• Any statutory right of withdrawal or refund you have is unaffected. Otherwise, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully or in a way that infringes others’ rights;
• abuse, circumvent or disrupt the Service, its security, limits or AI systems (including scraping, automation, or attempts to extract prompts or models);
• input content that is illegal, hateful, that exploits minors, or that infringes others’ rights;
• resell, rent or share access to the Service without our permission.

We may restrict or suspend access if these rules are breached.

In-game narration and responses are AI-generated and are fictional and for entertainment. They may be inaccurate, inconsistent or inappropriate and do not constitute advice (legal, medical, financial or otherwise). Do not rely on AI content for real-world decisions.

You keep the rights to the content you create while playing (characters, choices, entries). You grant us the limited licence necessary to operate the Service — to store and display your content on your account and to route your gameplay input to our AI provider to generate narration.

If you submit a story for publication, our submission & publishing terms also apply.

The Service and its worlds, characters, text, artwork, branding and software belong to Nex41 Ltd or its licensors and are protected by law. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these terms — no other rights are granted.

AnyVerse is in an early (alpha) stage and evolving. We may add, change or remove features, worlds or scenarios, and may need to carry out maintenance. We aim to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure or uninterrupted, or that AI content will be accurate or suitable.

To the extent permitted by law, Nex41 Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or £50 if you paid nothing). Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as death or personal injury caused by negligence), and your non-waivable consumer rights are not affected.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitations) continue after termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales — without affecting any mandatory legal provisions or consumer rights of your country of residence.

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
